Description

(Hiring for Summer 2020)

The primary focus of this position is to assist Project Managers and Analysts with client project execution across all Chartwell business units.  The role is designed to provide the Intern Analyst with an entry level understanding and knowledge of project execution.  Specific analytical tasks may include; historical and pro forma client company financial analysis; public company peer group market analysis; merger and acquisition market peer group analysis; discounted cash flow analysis; industry research and analysis; report writing; presentation preparation; and other such analysis as deemed relevant related to project execution.  In addition, the Intern Analyst may be involved in corporate marketing activities including pitch and proposal development, prospect company research and due diligence investigation, relevant financial and economic research and sales presentations with prospective clients as directed.

Corporate Finance Analyst
Description

(Hiring for Summer 2020)

The primary focus of this position is to assist Chartwell with the execution of corporate finance transactions in our Corporate Finance/Investment Banking Practice.  The role is designed to provide the Analyst with a broad based understanding and knowledge of the execution of corporate finance transactions and consulting projects, including sell-side and buy-side M&A, debt and equity placements, strategic alternatives reviews, and other corporate finance assignments.  Specific analytical tasks will include: business valuation in connection with broader assignments; industry research; preparation of marketing materials for both equity and debt investors; presentation preparation; marketing support activities; financial analysis; and other such activities as deemed relevant to the group’s and the firm’s success.  The duties will also include the review of client information, communication with clients regarding active projects, and participation in various meetings with clients and other advisors associated with the Chartwell transactions and projects. In addition, the Analyst may be involved in corporate marketing activities including pitch and proposal development, prospect company research and due diligence investigation, relevant financial and economic research, and sales presentations with prospective clients as directed.
