Marco has built an admirable track record of growth, customer retention, and successful acquisitions. In the past three years, the company acquired 15 companies and added 430 employees to its workforce. Marco is also executing on plans to go national and its sale to NEP provides the company with greater financial resources, leadership, and talent to achieve accelerated growth goals. “Selling our company was a BOLD move. And to sell under my watch, it needed to be the best possible transaction for everyone involved,” said Marco’s CEO Jeff Gau. “We felt the decision to sell Marco was the right one – for our employees, our communities, and our clients.” Marco's strong client and employee-focused culture have contributed to the company's ongoing success, and the company, in partnership with NEP, plans to sustain that culture through its next phase of growth.
