16th Annual M&A Advisor Award Finalists Announced

MINNEAPOLIS - September 21, 2017 - Chartwell is pleased to share that two of our recent completed transactions have been selected by The M&A Advisor as finalists in their 16th Annual M&A Advisor Awards.

The Acquisition of Morton Buildings, Inc. by the Morton Buildings, Inc. Leveraged Employee Stock Ownership Trust was selected in the Industrials Deal of the Year (over $100MM-$250MM) category. Chartwell acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Morton Buildings throughout the Transaction, providing creative, unbiased counsel to management and the Board of Directors on the sale of a majority interest in the Company to its employees.

The Partnership between NovaCopy, Inc. and Trivest Partners, LP was selected in the following three categories: Professional Services (B-to-B) Deal of the Year (under $100MM), Information Technology Deal of the Year (from $50MM-$100MM), and M&A Deal of the Year (from $75MM-$100MM). Chartwell acted as the exclusive financial advisor to NovaCopy in the transaction, providing thoughtful, candid advice to the Company throughout the duration of the transaction.

The finalists have been selected from the nominees in the first stage of evaluation, and the independent panel of judges will now focus their attention on the challenging task of selecting the ultimate award winners that will be announced at the Awards Gala on Monday, November 13th at the Metropolitan Club.
