Hank Manilla


Hank performs analysis related to valuations of privately held middle-markets companies, including companies with Employee Stock Ownership Plans.  He is skilled in the areas of gathering due diligence information and analyzing guideline public companies as well as examining merger and acquisition markets.  Hank also studies economic and industry conditions that can impact a company’s financial statements.



Hank received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and economics from the University of Oregon, followed shortly thereafter by a Master of Science in Finance.


During his education Hank was a project manager in the Oregon Consulting Group and an equity research analyst in the Master’s Investment Group. Before coming to Chartwell, he interned at a public accounting firm in Portland.
