Financial Restructuring requires the guidance of qualified and experienced financial advisors.  When companies face material financial challenges, including sudden business decline, liquidity erosion, or excessive debt, Chartwell financial restructuring advisors step in to stabilize the situation.  We provide services not only to debtors, but also to creditors, Boards of Directors, or shareholders of troubled companies, acquirers seeking to purchase distressed assets, or any party with interest to a troubled situation.  Chartwell can raise new debt or equity capital, restructure liabilities, negotiate plans of reorganization both in and out of court, facilitate asset sales or purchases, provide valuation or solvency opinions, give expert valuation testimony, and/or rearrange terms of debt.

Our advisors have been involved with several of the most prominent and complicated financial restructurings over the last several decades.  They have the technical and creative expertise required to unravel even the most complex financial situation.  Chartwell cultivates a strong professional network comprised of highly-respected debt-financing sources, law firms, and investors.

Debtors, creditors, and asset buyers depend on us for:

  • Restructuring the financial relationship between debtors and creditors for the benefit of both parties; attaching a capital structure that is appropriate for both the borrower and lenders going forward
  • Tapping into capital markets to gather financing for immediate, and long-term needs
  • Providing sound valuation and solvency opinions in judicially-driven restructurings of obligations

We approach financial restructuring with one thing in mind: getting our clients to a place where they can once again focus on the long-term, sustainable growth of their company.
