During the course of his 25+ year career, he has been involved in sell-side, buy-side, and capital markets transactions in a variety of settings, both as an advisor and as a principal investor. PRIOR EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Prior to joining Chartwell, Greg was Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s (BAML) Middle-Market M&A advisory group, where he was responsible for covering diversified industrial clients, as well as ESOP advisory for both middle-market and global investment banks. Prior to BAML, Greg was a Managing Director at ABN AMRO’s North American Mid-Market Corporate Finance group (ABN), where he was responsible for M&A and general corporate finance. While at ABN, he established the ESOP Advisory practice for the investment bank, leveraging LaSalle’s ESOP structured lending business into an advisory capability. In addition, with the Financial Sponsors group, he initiated a public-to-private practice for mid-cap companies. Prior to his global investment banking experience, Greg was a Managing Director at Lazard Middle Market (formerly known as Goldsmith Agio Helms), where he represented corporations, private equity, and private business owners in a variety of middle-market transactions. Furthermore, Greg held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate development and financial management with Diageo, PLC, a global food and beverage products company, and Invensys PLC, a global technology company. Greg began his M&A career in private equity with the Jordan Company. Greg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Northeastern Illinois University.
